Domestic Shipping
We Provide Free Shipping across India (excluding unserviceable pincode). This is to maintain the service level and provide shipping on time to our customers.
Domestic orders (in India) would be processed within 24 hours and shipped through a domestic courier company. Most orders are delivered to our customer within 5 to 10 working days from the date of invoice. We are not responsible for any delay caused by any unforeseen time lags by the courier companies in delivering the goods to the customer, or if the customer is not available at the time of delivery.
International Shipping Policies
International shipping is governed by a variety of regulations that ensure compliance with customs, duties, and safety standards. Here are some general guidelines we follow:
1. Customs Regulations:
Documentation: Ensure all shipping documents are complete and accurate. This includes commercial invoices, packing lists, and any required permits.
Duties & Taxes: Be aware of the import duties and taxes applicable in the destination country. These vary widely and must be considered in pricing and shipping or extra.
Restricted Goods: Some items are restricted or prohibited for export from India. We are not sending any restricted goods.
2. Shipping Regulations:
Export License: For goods requiring an export license, we are licensed with number EPAPP6733L. You can check this at the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) Website.
Freight Forwarders: We use DHL, a reputable freight forwarder, to navigate complex shipping policies and ensure compliance with both Indian and international laws.
3. Postal Regulations:
India Post: For smaller shipments, India Post offers international shipping services. Ensure you are aware of the weight and size limits.
Courier Services: Major courier companies like DHL, FedEx, and UPS also operate in India and have their own shipping policies. They often offer more detailed tracking and faster delivery options.
4. Appealing Decisions:
Customs Appeals: If your shipment has been held or rejected by customs in India or the destination country, you can appeal the decision. This typically involves submitting a written appeal with supporting documentation to the relevant customs authority.
Freight Disputes: If there are issues with the shipping company, such as lost or damaged goods, you can file a claim. Most freight companies have a formal process for appeals.
5. Legal Recourse:
Dispute Resolution: If your appeal is not successful, you may need to pursue legal action. This can involve arbitration or court proceedings, depending on the nature of the dispute.
Compliance with International Trade Laws: Ensure that your appeal considers both Indian trade laws and the regulations of the destination country.
If you need specific guidance on a particular shipping issue or appeal, consulting with a legal expert in international trade law or a customs broker might be beneficial.
